On December 11th 2021 Kilonova GRB 211211A blasted one billion light-years away. 

On December 11th 2022 another explosion in room 113 at Opera hotel in Zürich.

Kilonovae are rare astronomical explosions that occur when two dead stars or a dead star and a black hole collide. Scientists are still trying to understand them fully, but we do know that they cause ripples in space-time.
